You will have a good start to the day with this yummy mango smoothie bowl. My family loves the sweet flavor of fresh mango, and this smoothie bowl is another way to enjoy it. We recommend topping it with tropical-flavored items such as toasted coconut flakes, kiwi, and macadamia nuts. Feel free to get creative with your own ideas for toppings.
- 2 cups of Greek style yogurt. Pick a plain, coconut, or vanilla flavor.
- 1 banana. Peel, slice, and freeze.
- 2 cups of chopped and frozen mango.
- 1 teaspoon of honey. If desired, to sweeten to taste.
- 1 tablespoon of toasted and chopped macadamia nuts. Add nuts to a dry skillet over low-medium heat. Stir occasionally for about five minutes.
- 1 kiwi. Cut into slices.
- 1 tablespoon of toasted coconut flakes. Put flakes in a dry skillet over low-medium heat. Stir often for about three minutes.
- 1 fresh, not frozen, mango. Slice.
Put together the yogurt, frozen banana, frozen mango, and honey (optional) in a blender and blend until it is nice and smooth.
